Pakistan Test and One Day Captain Misbah-ul-Haq has become country’s tenth player to complete century of sixes in international cricket, which includes Test, One Day and Twenty20 International matches.
Misbah achieved the feat yesterday at Edinburgh in the match against Scotland where he hit 3 sixes enroute to unbeaten 83 off 80 balls. He now has hit 101 sixes in international cricket, in addition to that he has also hit 545 Fours.
The leading batsman on the charts is Shahid Afridi, who has 390 half-a-dozens under his name, the most by any batsman of world. The other Pakistanis to club 100-plus sixes are Inzamam-ul-Haq, Wasim Akram, Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Yousuf, Saeed Anwar, Ijaz Ahmad, Younis Khan and Imran Khan.
Misbah’s ratio of six hitting (0.49) is best after Shahid Afridi (0.90) and Abdul Razzaq (0.50).
